π΅οΈββοΈ Cheating & Unfair Gameplay
Cheating in any form is strictly prohibited within Zephyr Roleplay. This includes, but is not limited to, the use of hacks, scripts, mod menus, third-party software, exploits, or any external assistance used to gain an unfair advantage over other players.
We expect all players to engage in fair and honest gameplay at all times. Cheating damages the integrity of the server, negatively impacts the experience of others, and will result in severe punishment, including permanent bans.
Exploiting bugs or unintended game mechanics for personal gain is also considered cheating and may result in punishment.
Due to the increasing difficulty in detecting cheats and unfair software, Zephyr Roleplay may require players who are involved in suspicious kill reports to provide POV clips upon request. These clips must clearly show the relevant engagement and be a minimum of 30 seconds in length. Players are strongly encouraged to clip their gameplay if they believe their actions may be questioned.
Failure to provide requested POV footage may result in punishment, including bans, where staff believe sufficient suspicion exists. This system was implemented following community feedback and voting to help maintain fair and competitive gameplay standards.
π Visual Advantage Modifications
Players may customise their graphics settings, shaders, visual mods, or post-processing effects for personal preference and performance. However, any modification that provides a significant gameplay advantage over players using standard game settings is prohibited.
This includes, but is not limited to:
- Artificially darkening the sky while increasing ground or player visibility
- Removing or significantly reducing intended darkness, fog, weather, or environmental effects
- Excessive brightness, contrast, colour correction, or glow effects designed to make players easier to spot
- Any visual modification that alters the intended visibility balance of the server
- Using any form of puremode bypass
Visual enhancements should improve the appearance of the game, not provide a tactical advantage during roleplay or hostile interactions.
Staff may require players to revert visual settings or provide evidence of their graphical configuration if concerns are raised. Failure to comply, or the use of visual modifications that provide an unfair advantage, may result in disciplinary action.
The Zephyr Management Team reserves the right to remove any player considered high-risk, suspicious, or otherwise deemed a threat to the fairness, integrity, or competitive environment of the server.
