🏴 Gang Rules📋 Reporting

📋 Reporting & POV Requirements

To ensure reports are handled fairly, consistently, and with accurate evidence, all crews are required to comply with the following reporting and POV requirements.

Claiming Reporting

  • Any rule breaches or incidents that occur during claiming must be reported as soon as reasonably possible after they occur.
  • All POV clips relating to a claiming incident must be submitted within 60 minutes of the claiming event ending.
  • Vendors will not be awarded or transferred until 60 minutes after claiming has concluded. This allows staff sufficient time to investigate and resolve any reports before vendors are issued.
  • All claiming reports must be submitted through the Ticket Portal. Reports submitted through leadership chats or direct messages to staff will not be accepted.

Cayo-Specific Reporting & POV Requirements

The following rules apply only to incidents that occur on Cayo.

Helicopter POVs

Any player operating a helicopter on Cayo must record their entire POV for the duration of the flight.

This requirement exists to assist staff in investigating helicopter-related incidents, including helicopters entering restricted areas, engaging players unlawfully, or any other breaches involving aircraft.

Helicopter POVs must:

  • Record the entire flight from take-off until landing or destruction of the helicopter.
  • Be retained for 24 hours before being deleted.
  • Be provided to staff upon request.
  • Be submitted within 1 hour of the incident if being used as evidence in a report.

Cayo Reporting Timeframes

  • Any report relating to a helicopter incident on Cayo must be submitted within 1 hour of the incident occurring.
  • All other Cayo-related reports must also be submitted within 1 hour of the incident occurring.
  • All Cayo reports must be submitted through the Ticket Portal.

General Reporting Requirements

The following rules apply to all reports across the server, unless otherwise stated above.

Report Submission

  • All reports involving gangs or organised conflict must be submitted within 24 hours of the incident occurring.
  • Reports should be submitted as soon as reasonably possible rather than waiting until a later stage.
  • All reports must be submitted through the Ticket Portal. Reports sent through leadership chats or directly to staff members will not be accepted.

POV Recording Requirements

All video evidence submitted as part of a report must:

  • Meet the minimum 3-minute clip requirement.
  • Be completely unedited.
  • Clearly show the events leading up to, during, and immediately after the incident where applicable.
  • Include both game audio and your own microphone audio.
  • Be provided in full upon request by staff.

Voice Recording

Players are responsible for ensuring their clipping or recording software is correctly configured before participating in situations that may require a report.

Voice communications are often critical when investigating reports, as they allow staff to verify callouts, negotiations, compliance, instructions, and other important context that cannot be determined through gameplay footage alone.

  • Your submitted POV must include your own voice communications wherever possible.
  • Before participating in hostile situations, verify that your recording software is capturing both game audio and microphone audio.
  • POV clips that do not capture your own voice have a high likelihood of being rejected or deemed insufficient evidence, as staff may be unable to accurately determine the context of the situation or verify what was said.
  • Failure to correctly configure your recording software is not considered a valid reason for missing or incomplete evidence. It is each player’s responsibility to ensure their recording setup is functioning correctly.

Why These Requirements Exist

These reporting requirements are designed to ensure reports are handled fairly, consistently, and while evidence is still fresh.

Prompt reporting allows staff to investigate incidents while evidence and recollections remain accurate. It also prevents players from intentionally withholding rule breaches until they become strategically beneficial.

Delaying reports or holding onto clips until a conflict begins to turn against your crew—only to then submit multiple reports in an attempt to have the situation cancelled, overturned, or otherwise influenced—is considered contrary to the purpose of the reporting system.

By requiring incidents to be reported promptly, staff can investigate using fresh evidence, resolve disputes efficiently, and maintain fairness for everyone involved.
