🏴 Gang Rules🔐 Crew Structure

🔐 Crew Structure

To maintain fairness and consistency across Zephyr Roleplay, all crews must operate under a defined structure. This ensures that both members and leadership are held to clear standards and that the gang system remains balanced and immersive.

🔹 Unregistered Group Restrictions

Players who are not part of an officially registered Crew, Org, or Syndicate are restricted to engaging in hostilities with a maximum of six (6) people at any one time.

All members involved in these hostilities must also be wearing clearly matching attire that reasonably identifies them as part of the same group.

Unregistered groups are not to actively seek out or initiate ongoing conflict with registered groups. The pre-registered stage is intended to be a learning and growth period where players build their reputation, create connections, develop their roleplay, and become familiar with the criminal atmosphere of the server before progressing further.

This stage should focus on organic roleplay and establishing your group’s identity, not competing directly with established factions.

🔹 Non-Tagged Members

Non-tagged members are individuals who associate with a crew but are not officially on the roster.
They may:

  • Participate in basic RP interactions with the gang
  • Hang around or assist in minor, non-hostile activities

They may not:

  • Participate in any form of hostile RP (e.g. shootouts, spray contests, robberies)
  • Represent the crew in official situations (e.g. wars, vendor access)
  • Carry or use the gang’s stash or equipment in conflict situations
  • Wear the gangs clothing or represent the crew (clothing that clearly identifies as “supporter clothing” for said gang may be exempt)

Attempting to “stack” with non-tagged members during conflict will result in disciplinary action.

🔹 Tagged Members

To be rostered as a tagged member, players must have at least 24 hours of total server playtime. Players who do not meet this requirement may not be recruited into or listed on any gang roster.

Tagged members are officially listed on the crew roster and hold full gang privileges.
They are allowed to:

  • Represent the crew in all hostile and defensive engagements
  • Access gang resources (e.g. stash, turf, sprays)
  • Participate in declared wars and gang-specific events

It is the leader’s responsibility to ensure that all tagged members are aware of the rules and consequences of representing the crew.

🔄 Tagging Cooldowns

To prevent roster abuse, the following cooldowns apply:

  • Joining another gang after soft pk or disband: 1 week gang cooldown period
  • Returning to the gang you were just pk’d from: 1 week gang cooldown period

Cooldowns are enforced server-wide and may only be waived with Gang Staff approval.

Hostile Patch Over

  • All HPOs must be submitted to and approved by Gang Staff prior to being initiated.
  • When submitting an HPO request, gangs must provide sufficient evidence and backstory outlining the roleplay reasoning behind the HPO and why it is being pursued. This information will be reviewed by Gang Staff as part of the approval process.
  • Approval or denial of an HPO is at the sole discretion of Gang Staff. All decisions made by Gang Staff are final and non-negotiable.
  • The initial meeting where a member is transferred from another gang must be treated as a hostile interaction. The receiving gang must clearly communicate that they are taking the member, and the original gang must be aware of this. As with any hostile interaction, this may escalate into a melee confrontation.
  • The defending gang’s objective is to protect the member involved in the HPO. Defenders must not actively hunt or pursue the attacking gang unless it is necessary to defend the member.
  • Throughout the entire 48-hour HPO period, the member being patched over must wear a minimum of three visible identifiers associated with the defending gang (e.g. patch, colours, or approved clothing items). These identifiers must remain on at all times while in the city.
  • If the member involved in the HPO is successfully captured and permanently killed (PK’d) by the attacking gang during the 48-hour period, the HPO is considered un-successful. The member will receive the standard one-week gang cooldown.”
  • For an HPO (Hostile Patch Over) to be considered successful, the attacking gang must eliminate the HPO member and remain on scene until the member has fully seen the light.
  • If the attacking gang leaves the scene before the HPO member has seen the light, the HPO will not be considered successful and may be deemed invalid.
  • This requirement ensures the outcome of the HPO is properly roleplayed and witnessed by all parties involved.

☠️ Soft PKs vs Hard PKs

  • Soft PK (Partial Death/Bleed Out):
    • You forget the events of the scenario and lose all memory related to the interaction.
    • You forget all information related to the gang you’ve just been bled out of
    • You may not seek revenge or retaliate based on the event.
  • Hard PK (Full Death):
    • You permanently lose your character and any ties to the gang or storyline.
    • You must be removed from the roster.
    • Character must be fully deleted and wiped after Hard PK.

All hard PKs must be agreed on between both parties, all agreements must be done in roleplay. Any form of discord agreements will be disregarded and waived entirely. You must have the agreement recorded and clipped through a clipping software which you may be required to provide at the request of Gang Staff.

Mayhem Vote / Hierarchy Overthrow

Any attempt to overthrow a gang’s leadership or initiate a mayhem vote must receive prior approval from Gang Staff before any action or related scene takes place.

Approval will only be considered where:

There is substantial in-character backstory and a clear build-up supporting the overthrow. The conflict has developed naturally through roleplay and is not manufactured solely to remove leadership. The reasoning is entirely in character and contains no out-of-character disputes, personal issues, grudges or influence.

Gang Staff may review the gang’s overall activity, leadership and suitability during this process. If the gang or its proposed leadership is deemed unfit to continue, Gang Staff reserves the right to deny the overthrow or disband the gang entirely.

Attempting to organise or carry out an unapproved overthrow, or disguising OOC conflict as IC reasoning, may result in disciplinary action.
